The Problem
After being students ourselves and interacting with then students from different Universities, we learnt that their was a gap between what we are taught and the work done in Industries.
Learning more than what is presented in the form of University books and assignments is essential in today’s time. When we started the Workshops project, we targeted the following areas:
Bridge the gap between Academia and Industry.
Lack of ‘Authentic’ source of learning/ mentoring
Lack of know how to capitalize on skill
Design Challenge
The Solution
Bringing together experts and enthusiasts and provide them optimum learning/ growing environment
Equipping ourselves with new tools to manage time, ideas and people better. We used tools such as Trello
Presenting ourselves in the industry is extremely important, for creative individuals it comes in the form of Portfolios and for everyone else as Personal Branding.
Learning from young professionals in a field of study generates enthusiasm and opens students to new opportunities.
